Photo Walk Description

Hello I am Darin Mellor and I am a local professional photographer, cohost of the very popular Improve Photography Podcast, and an instructor for PhotoClasses.com. I am very fortunate to be able to work with photographers across the world through Improve Photography and PhotoClasses.com. Jim Harmer took me under his wing because he saw something in me and I hope you see that spark of enthusiasm when we take part in Scott Kelby’s AWESOME Annual Worldwide Photo Walk.

Enough about me, let’s talk about the walk. We will be meeting across from the Dale E. Clark Library at 4:30 PM CST, which is by the Gene Leahy Mall in the Old Market District of Omaha, NE. We will start there, work our way through the park, down towards Heartland of America Park, through the best parts of the Old Market, and finally meeting at the Old Chicago, which is only a couple blocks from the meeting point. We will meet at Old Chicago on Harney Street at 7:00 PM so we can look at each other’s photos and make this a truly fun and social event. I have set a reservation for 50 of us so please confirm your attendance as soon as possible. I will call Old Chicago with more precise number on Thursday, October 9, 2014; so please confirm your attendance no later than October 8, 2014.

Lastly, I want this to be a fun and social outing, but safety is on the forefront. Please be aware of your surroundings and do not put yourself in a situation where you could risk legal or physical harm to you or anyone else attending the walk. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have questions or concerns.
