This year we’ll explore the redeveloping neighbourhood of Bridgeland. Since the demolition of the General Hospital in 1998, the vitality of the area has grown, providing an interesting mix of old and new. There are great views of the city along the way and while I’ve made our official finish point at the Bridgeland Market, those feeling keen can end the walk on Tom Campbell’s Hill with a fantastic view of the city skyline and the setting sun.
Parking is available throughout the neighbourhood, and most parking-controlled zones (varying from 30-minutes to two-hours) end at 6pm.
Afterward we’ll meet at The Main Dish in the heart of Bridgeland. It’s a fun restaurant that has reserved the west side for us — please come for great food and excellent conversation!
