Ed Greenberg has been a litigator practicing in New York City for well over 36 years. He has represented some of the top photographers and illustrators in the business as well as the average Joes and Janes striving to make a name for themselves. His clients have included – Richard Avedon, Mel Sokolsky, Nick Brandt, MacDuff Everton, Sarah Silver, Richard Noble, Anita Kunz and of course, Jack Reznicki with whom co-authored their newest book, "The Copyright Zone" . Their photo blog, thecopyrightzone.com, covers all sorts of hot topic photo legal/business issues. He has represented countless models, model agencies (including Ford Models), stylists, reps, agents and The Society of Illustrators. Ed has been a frequent guest lecturer in the Masters Program in Digital Photography at The School of Visual Arts in New York and at The Hallmark Institute of Photography. He has also lectured and given workshops nationwide on photographers’, artists’ and models’ rights on behalf of several photo trade associations. Ed actually goes to court and tries real cases in front of actual judges and juries in several states and has argued appellate cases at the State and Federal levels. He has also been retained by other lawyers as an expert witness or consultant in intellectual property cases.
