Ben Willmore is back with a brand new tour for 2015 that shows how best to integrate Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop. He’ll show you how to take best advantage of the new features in Lightroom CC as well as how to move beyond its limitations by taking advantage of Photoshop’s advanced image processing features. You’ll learn how to get the most out of Lightroom by utilizing many hidden features that require the intimate knowledge that only an expert can provide. He’ll share the best methods for organizing your images, show you how to push your image optimization abilities beyond what you thought was possible and then show how to best integrate Photoshop into your workflow. Seminar Begins at 10:00am. Registration Opens at 9:00am.

10:00AM - Developing An Optimized Workflow

Implement a streamlined system for whittling down hundreds of images into just those that are worth processing. Then, de-clutter your folders using an organized structure so you can easily tell the status of any image at a glance. You’ll quickly be able to separate the images that should be shown to a client from the ones that should never see the light of day.

11:15AM - Taking Image Processing To the Next Level

Learn how to rescue images that you thought were not worth processing. Discover how to go beyond the standard processing techniques and push your average images into something you'll be proud of. You’ll also learn how to process High Dynamic Range images and Panoramas directly in Lightroom.

You’re on you own for lunch. However, we always try to choose venues that have food options nearby, and you’re always free to bring your lunch if you wish.

1:15PM - Getting the Most Out of Lightroom

Take a focused tour of the interface to see which areas have the potential to radically improve how you interact with Lightroom. In the process, you’ll learn to streamline the printing process, make searching much more effective, discover a few hidden features and take advantage of automation to speed up your workflow.

2:45PM - Advanced Photoshop Retouching Techniques

Move beyond Lightroom’s basic retouching capabilities in order to deal with difficult images. You’ll see how there are three basic concepts to master, plus a few specialized techniques. Once you’ve done that, you’ll know how to separate detail from color when retouching skin, even out skies in your panoramas and easily tackle difficult retouching jobs.

4:00PM - Photoshop Effects, Treatments and Tips

Lightroom can only take your images so far, so we’ll switch over to Photoshop and see how Faux Infrared, Double Exposures, Advanced B&W, Texture Effects and Painterly Treatments can transform average images into something special.

5:00PM - Seminar Ends

Your seminar will wrap-up around 5pm (ish). We hope you've had a great day!
