  1. Dave Black is totally awesome! his is a gentleman that would be great to hang out with. I never heard of Dave before Kelby Training, but I was interested in light painting and watched all his classes on that subject, and then this interview with him is very inspirational. It actually lets me know that I am on the right track. When I go to a sporting event, I do cover the whole story. I love to shoot rugby so I will cover the action, the players, coaches, fans, and the families of the players watching their loved ones in action...you get the idea. And, I do position myself away from the other shooters. Thanks Dave, for helping me stay on the correct path. And watching this video, Dave kind of reminds me of the Scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz---what a wonderful brain he has! Thanks Dave, looking forward to more of you!

  2. What a captivating speaker and knowledgeable photographer! I've watched all of Dave's training videos, and several many times over. Looking forward to his next training video!

  3. It is very inspiring to listen to Dave speak of his experiences, challenges and successes. I have seen his light painting classes several times. One cannot help but see he is an artist who loves his work, whether it is sports, portraits or light painting. You have to love your work and love doing it. Not only that, he loves to share. Great workshop/interview with THE Dave Black.

  4. As always, outstanding! Dave is first class in everything he does and this interview and his reflection of his career and his work is inspirational. I love photograph as a hobby. I have been told that when you start getting paid for it, it's no longer a hobby, it's a job. But, with Dave it's still a hobby and love of it that continues . Great job Kelby as always
